Windows XP SP3 Candidate 2 Refresh Download

As of yesterday (March 25th 2008), it seems Microsoft has released a beta version of its latest service pack, SP3 (5503 build) for its line of Windows XP operating systems. This service pack includes all the usual patches and fixes but also claims to offer a speed increase of around 10%. You can get a free download of Windows XP SP3 from the Microsoft website here. It is available as a downloadable standalone update package. The language options are as followed. Windows XP SP3 RC2 in English, Japanese or German.
Seems like yet another reason I won’t be upgrading the Windows Vista any time soon….
